Subject: Update COVID 19
After the announcement which was made by the President of Republic of South Africa (Cyril Ramaphosa) on Sunday 15 March 2020 and the subsequence request by the Minister of Higher Education and Training for the closure of Public school and public colleges, because of the possible impact that the COVID19 epidemic throughout the whole world.
It is with regret to inform all students of Successors Training Institute as a private college that we have also decided to follow the government instruction to shorten this semester and close the institution.
The institution RECESSION PERIOD will be as follows:
Recessions start date: 18 March 2020
Recession end date: to be updated on what’s up
This recession period will not apply to learners who are writing their examinations from the 01 April 2020 until a clear instruction is received from Department of Higher Education and Training whether they will postpone examinations or not.
We urge all our learners and lectures to adhere to the following during this difficult time
- Cover your mouth and nose
- Avoid close contact
- Wash your hands regularly at least for 20 seconds with soap and water
- Use alcohol – based sanitizer
- Stay at home when you are sick and try to keep your distance from others
